A visit to our Centre of Excellence will allow you to see many of our new and emerging products and technologies, demonstrating the ways in which our products can help you meet new and existing regulations and the needs of your customers, in a cost and time-effective manner. Interactive and hands-on exhibits give you the opportunity to put Polypipe to the test and showcase new ways of solving some of the industry's longest standing problems.
What will I get from a visit?
Visits are hosted by your sales manager and are tailored to meet your needs. Whether you're interested in sustainable solutions, want to find out more about challenging traditional installation methods, rainwater harvesting or underfloor heating for example, we'll arrange a bespoke experience for you.
How long does a visit last?
We think you'll get the most out of your visit by spending a day with us but even if you've only got a couple of hours we'll make every minute count. Every visit is bespoke but here's an example of what a day could include:
Interactive Displays
Feeling flushed?
Our interactive hydraulic water tower is a fabulous way to see good and bad plumbing practice in action.
The transparent plastic pipes clearly demonstrate the movement of water in a large building. So if, for example, you want to know what happens if everyone in a six-storey block of flats flushes the loo at the same time, you just need to push the button!
Or what about finding out how quickly rainwater can be removed from a large roof area? Find out by putting both siphonic and gravity rainwater solutions to the test.
And, if you're interested in rainwater harvesting there's a complete hands-on model of our roof-to-river solutions, showing you exactly how all the components fit together and work in harmony.
What our visitors think
'If first impressions count then a visit to the Polypipe Terrain Centre of Excellence will give you that sense of quality and investment. We have now used the Centre for a number of functions, and plan to use it again in the future to bring staff and customers together, for product training and new product development knowledge in sustainability and renewable energy technology.'
'The centre allows us the flexibility in catering for large and small groups of people, by making use of the meeting rooms, exhibition area, or the main theatre room for larger group presentations. The staff employed at the centre are very friendly and knowledgeable, and have created a relaxed atmosphere and unique environment as a training centre and meeting place.'
